Guitar Hero 5 Set List Exhumes Elliott Smith, Turns Him

Activision will open Elliott Smith's casket this fall to turn his corpse - and also add his song, "LA," to Guitar Hero 5.

Guitar Hero 5's 85 song set list, announced this morning, spans the emotional ph scale. There's music you listened on your Senior float trip, what played on the stereo when you lost your virginity, and the noise that covered your whimpers that night you got dumped and you just felt like driving as far the road could take you - just you, your Volvo and the Good Will Hunting Soundtrack.

Ugh, why do rhythm games bring out my cynicism. I mean, the game has "Wolf Like Me," "Under Pressure," "All Along the Watchtower." I'll probably grab it day one.
