Logitech updates Bluetooth mouse, uses crowd wisdom

Peripheral manufacturer Logitech has jazzed up its mouse line up with its latest Bluetooth mouse, the M555b.

This wireless Bluetooth-enabled mouse has hyper-fast scrolling for zipping through web pages and documents with one single rotation of the almost-frictionless scroll wheel.

The M555b uses laser tracking and works on most surfaces for smooth and reactive cursor control.

The super slick Bluetooth mouse comes in a metallic grey finish and has a low battery indicator.

The new mouse was developed, says senior global product marketing manager Delphone Donne-Crock, using crowd sourcing via reader comments to a blog post earlier in the year, looking for new ideas on what improvements customers would like to see.

The M555b is available this month in both Europe and the US, with a suggested retail price of US$59.99, or about e43.
