What better way to fall into Fall than by enjoying the healing effects of laughter in your own community? “Comedy Night in Des Moines” is coming Friday, Oct. 9th, beginning at 7:30pm at the Field House, located at 1000 S. 220th Street.
This 2nd Annual Event will feature a family-friendly performance by comedienne Susan Rice (www.susanricecomedy.com). Susan has performed on ABC for producer George Schlatter of “Laugh In” fame, as well as appearing on “Evening at the Improv,” Showtime’s “Comedy on the Road” and the “Reunion Show & Comedy Express” for Fox.

Advance purchase tickets ($10) are available now at the Des Moines Field House (and at the Wednesday night concerts at the Beach Park).
Tickets will be available at the door for $15 or $10 if you show your ticket from the Des Moines Sr. Center’s Spaghetti Night.
The opening act will be announced at a later date.
