With the technology of dual-SIM cellphones gaining wide acceptance in the Indian market, Intex Technologies (India) Limited, has come up with two new models to tap the same segment. Intex has launched IN 4477 and the IN 2020, GSM based dual-SIM phones, which has been incorporated with new and exciting attributes.IN 4477, a tri band multimedia handset that plays audio and video of almost all the prominent formats including MP4 and 3GP. It has 2.4 inch stylish screen with a VGA camera. The handset provides expandable memory up to 8 GB and also has USB-PC connectivity for easy data, music and video transfer, besides Bluetooth connectivity.
The IN 2020 handset, the other GSM based dual-SIM phone by Intex also features an audio –player, expandable memory option, Bluetooth, and a VGA camera. It also has a utilitarian torch light and provides talk time of approximately 4 hours. Interestingly, the handset is also equipped with a small antenna on the top avoiding the need of an earphone to listen to music.�
One of the most attention-grabbing elements of these dual-SIM handsets is their price. Intex has priced it’s IN 4477 model at Rs. 3,800 while IN 2020 costs around Rs. 2,800.
