The Kent County Health department is launching a new ambassador program as part of its HIV/AIDS Prevention Initiative.
The program is designed for HIV positive MSM (men who have sex with men) to use their experiences to reach out to the community and reach those in at-risk groups.
Ambassadors will be trained to encourage friends, coworkers and people they meet to get tested and participate in safer sexual behavior.
The department will provide incentives for participation.
