Adrian Sutil was quickest again for Force India in final practice ahead of Saturday's qualifying sessions for the Italian Grand Prix.

The German driver, who was also quickest overall in Friday's practice sessions, lapped the Monza circuit in a time of one minute 23.336 seconds.

Brawn GP's championship leader Jenson Button showed signs of improvement upon Friday with a promising second-fastest time, 0.068 seconds slower.

Germany's Nick Heidfeld was third for BMW Sauber ahead of Button's Brazilian team-mate Rubens Barrichello and McLaren's Lewis Hamilton.

Meanwhile, Giancarlo Fisichella, who makes his Ferrari debut this weekend in the car vacated by injured Brazilian Felipe Massa and stand-in Luca Badoer, spun off the track.

The Italian driver, who started on pole for Force India at the previous Belgian Grand Prix and finished second for that team's first points, slewed across the gravel and into the barriers at Parabolica.

Fisichella's mechanics have therefore been left with work to do ahead qualifying.

Red Bull's title contenders Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel were 17th and 18th respectively.
